About Brett

Brett R. Koehn joined Marc E. Brand & Associates as an Attorney in September of 2016. Brett graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in History, Accounting, and English. Brett received his Juris Doctorate, graduating cum laude, from Mississippi College School of Law in 2016. Brett was one of two people in his 2016 graduating class to receive a Business and Commercial Law Certificate. Also while at Mississippi College School of Law, Brett received American Jurisprudence Awards in Legal Writing, Legal Research, Comparative Products Liability, and Comparative Corporate Governance & Securities Regulation.

Brett is admitted to practice law in all Mississippi Courts, including the Federal District Courts for the Souther and Northern Districts of Mississippi. He is also admitted to practice law in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Brett is married to Tanya Koehn. They have two children and are members at the Pinelake Baptist Church.
